In 2015, the company produced Anushka Sharma's production debut film NH10, and the coming of age comedy Hunterrr. Both films proved to be a success.[10][11] Bombay Velvet, a period film set in Bombay in the 1960s, based on Princeton University Historian Gyan Prakash's book Mumbai Fables, was its next release. It stars Ranbir Kapoor, Anushka Sharma and Karan Johar. The film was a major box-office failure.[12][13] Masaan, was phantom's fourth release of the year. The film won the FIPRESCI Award and the Promising Future award at the 2015 Cannes Film Festival.[14] The string of box-office failures for Phantom Films continued with Shaandaar (2015), starring Alia Bhatt and Shahid Kapoor.[15][16]

4. Katrina Kaif will not be dancing in a film for the first time since Rajneeti, which was released in 2010. Katrina, who plays a Parsi for the first time in her movie career, appears in the song Afghan Jalebi composed by music director Pritam. Despite being known for her dancing skills, she does not shake a leg during the song much to the disappointment of her fans. In the past, it was normal for Bollywood actors to break out of character for song sequences. But today's audiences are sophisticated and such a move would risk inviting brickbats from more discerning viewers.
5. The song Afghan Jalebi was filmed on the second floor of Mumbai's famous Mehboob Studio because it is the lucky charm of producer Sajid Nadiadwala. Ever since his movie Kick was shot there and became a superhit, Sajid has insisted on shooting a scene from all his films on the second floor of the studio. Three other films of his that are yet to be released, Baaghi, Dishoom and Tamasha, have also been shot here. Sajid reportedly booked the second floor for several months so that he could have access to it whenever required. Founded by director Mehboob Khan, Mehboob Studio is where many iconic Bollywood films, including Mother India, Kaagaz ke Phool and Guide, were filmed.
Given that Kamal Haasan is shooting for Vikram, Phantom Hospital could be Mahesh Narayanan's next release. Among Malayali directors, only Priyadarshan and Siddique (Bodyguard) have garnered wide recognition when they transitioned to the Hindi movie industry.
Hussain Zaidi wrote a book, Mumbai Avengers, which became the base for this spy movie. The action thriller, Phantom, charts the story of an Indian army officer, who is on a private mission to take down those behind the 26/11 Mumbai terrorist attacks. Starring Saif Ali Khan and Katrina Kaif in lead roles, it features various action scenes in the gorgeous hills of Kashmir. In fact, it is also one of the movies that will take you through the scenic beauty of Kashmir.
Another spy movie featuring John Abraham, this one takes you to Sri Lanka. In this, he plays the role of an Indian intelligence officer Vikram Singh. He goes to the neighbouring country on a secret mission and gets caught in the middle of civil war and a dramatic conspiracy to kill the prime minister of India. A rare case where the country betrays their own spy, Madras Café is a must watch.
The sequel to Ek Tha Tiger, Tiger Zinda Hai is yet another story of a RAW agent. However, with Salman Khan playing the lead, the film leans more towards action than intelligent strategies. You can see the bulky actor jump from building-to-building and engage in some high-octane escapes and fight sequences. Well supported by Katrina Kaif, the spy movie also has a slight love angle, which spices things up.
Priti Shahani, the Bollywood producer behind movies such as 'Talvar', 'Raazi' and 'Badhaai Ho', announced a genre-bending new feature film in collaboration with Josy Joseph. Based on an unprecedented investigation into the Indian healthcare system, 'Phantom Hospital' will mark Narayanan's entry into the Hindi film industry.
Blumhouse Productions, Ivanhoe Pictures and Phantom Films have announced a multiyear partnership to produce local-language genre movies in India. The deal calls for the production of a minimum of 10 films over five years.
This movie is well executed, so while it may not seem especially original, it's still a decent way to spend a couple of hours. There are several standard components of a submarine movie: the captain with a stopwatch to time drills and approaching torpedoes, the dive that goes too deep, the threat of slow asphyxiation, and the isolation that comes from making tough decisions deep below the surface, unable to radio command for a second opinion. Phantom has all of those cliches and a few more classic sub tropes, and yet it still manages to tell a decent tale.
Families can talk about Phantom's violence. Is it necessary to the story? Does it seem realistic? How does it compare to more over-the-top scenes in larger-scale action movies? Which has greater impact?
He flinched in phantom pain and almost stumbled on the slippery ice. He remembered the spear very well. It had been stabbed through his back and out into the front, skewering his internals all over the place. Battered, bruised, utterly destroyed, Baldr had stood vigil for three days.
